My Mantelpiece: A Memoir of Survival and Social Justice
Carolyn Goodman with Brad Herzog
Carolyn Goodman's life was one of activism, of fighting for her principles while enduring pain and seeking peace. It was an honor to create a visual frame for her words on behalf of her family and The Andrew Goodman Foundation, named for her murdered son, who was killed in Mississippi during Freedom Summer 1964. This book was published exactly 50 years after his death and, as far as we know, was Maya Angelou's last published collaboration before her death that year. I also created the e-book for this title.
