This coffee table book was published to showcase the extensive art collection owned by Robert and Carolyn Goodman, whose son Andrew was killed while registering Black voters in Mississippi in 1964. The Goodmans collaborated and supported many artists in New York over decades, and this book presents the artwork in conjunction with stories about the artist in the context of the time.
